Birds die because of wind turbines
Hundreds of birds are killed by wind turbines in Brandenburg, Germany.
According to statistics from the National Observatory for the Protection of Birds*, just in Brandenburg 781 birds have been killed by collisions with wind turbines over the past decade.
The actual number of birds killed by wind turbines is obviously much higher.
